Editorial mission

The product is designed as a public evidence layer, not a sanctions predictor, AI detector, vendor failure-rate ranking, or substitute for primary legal research. Every public surface should distinguish a linked source from a human review and an allegation from an adjudicated consequence.

What AI Vortex adds

A normalization, classification and presentation layer on top of imported records, plus search, analytics, an MCP server and review workflows. The full list, checked against the code, is on What AI Vortex adds.

Data lineage and attribution

The case corpus on this site is imported from Damien Charlotin's AI Hallucination Cases Database, which he publishes under CC BY 4.0. The import is automated: the database's CSV export is downloaded, normalized and re-published here, and refreshed from it. The records, their facts and their source links are Damien's research. A small number of fields are added or derived by AI Vortex, and each one is listed on What AI Vortex adds.

Where a record points to a court, docket or news report instead of Damien's archive, that source is shown on the case page and the source tier is displayed explicitly. AI Vortex does not imply Damien Charlotin's endorsement or partnership. The linked court document, docket, order, or attributable public record remains controlling.
