PracticePanther plans and prices (read November 3, 2026)

Prices are in US dollars per user per month, as shown on the vendor's pricing page. The page says annual billing saves $120 per user per year, which matches the gap between the two columns in every row.

PlanBilled annuallyBilled monthlyWhat the plan adds
Solo$49$59Internal chat, real-time notifications, native payments with PantherPayments, daily agenda email, document templates, task and event workflows
Essential$69$79Everything in Solo, plus custom fields, custom security roles, invoice read alerts, multiple bank accounts
Business$89$99Everything in Essential, plus native two-way texting, intake forms, native e-signature with unlimited sends, attorney revenue report, LEDES billing
Business Pro$114$124Everything in Business, plus PantherAccounting Plus: trust accounting, operating accounting, enhanced reconciliation, general ledger, accounts receivable and expense management

The pricing page marks Business as popular and Business Pro as the full suite. Its detailed comparison table repeats the last row under the label "Business" at $124 and $114, which looks like a labeling slip on the vendor's page. We use the tier summary above, which names the plan Business Pro.

What every plan includes

The vendor says all plans include contact and matter management, billable time and expense tracking, support, a secure client portal, unlimited data storage and an iPhone, iPad and Android app.

Trial

The vendor's pages offer a 7-day free trial and say no credit card is needed. We did not start a trial.

Trust accounting is on the top plan only

The pricing page lists trust account ledger and reconciliation and multiple bank accounts among its accounting features, and the tier summary places the full trust accounting, operating accounting and enhanced reconciliation under Business Pro. A firm that holds client funds should confirm with the vendor which plan carries the three-way trust reconciliation report it needs before comparing the entry price with other tools.

Calendar rules need a separate subscription

The pricing page says calendar rules, which add deadlines by court jurisdiction, require a LawToolBox subscription. The features page describes the same sync. That cost is not part of the PracticePanther price above, and the pages we read do not state it.

Security statements

The security page says the product uses 256-bit encryption, an encrypted connection after login, role-based permissions and the option to restrict access to specific IP addresses. These are the vendor's statements. We did not find a security certification report on the pages we read, so ask for one if your firm's policy requires it.

What the pages do not say

  • AI. None of the three pages we read mention AI features, and a URL for a PracticePanther AI page returned not found. If you need AI drafting or summaries inside the case file, check the vendor directly and compare with MyCase IQ and Clio Duo, which publish AI features.
  • Reviews. The vendor cites a 4.7 out of 5 rating across Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice, Trustpilot and Lawyerist and says it is approved by over 70 bar associations. We did not verify either claim, and the page we read does not give the number of reviews.
  • Testimonials. Named attorney quotes on the site are the vendor's selected quotes. We do not repeat their time-saving claims.
  • Setup and support fees. The pages we read state none.

Questions to ask before you pay

  1. Which plan carries three-way trust reconciliation for my state's rules?
  2. What does the LawToolBox subscription cost for my court jurisdictions?
  3. Is there a minimum number of users, and does the annual price lock for the term?
  4. Which security reports or audits can you share?
  5. Does the product have any AI features today, and where is my data processed if so?
