E-discovery vendors rarely publish prices, and these pages are no exception. Several pages show how they bill (per GB, per document, data volume, credits), not what it costs. Products and terms may change.

Who each is for

DISCO. Software plus services for litigation teams, with Cecilia AI® and Auto Review inside the platform. Its pricing page says there is no additional charge for unlimited use of Cecilia AI on the platform, which matters if you expect heavy AI use. It is thin on public proof: the homepage names no security certification (see DISCO Cecilia and DISCO pricing).

Everlaw. A single platform for litigation, investigations and trial prep, with unlimited user licenses and AI features that appear to draw on credits. Its homepage lists FedRAMP and GovRAMP, which fits government work. Read Everlaw and Everlaw pricing next. Ask what a credit buys.

Relativity aiR. The platform most often found at large firms and legal service providers; its page claims 193 of the Am Law 200 and lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA (vendor claims). Pricing is volume-based with no per-user AI fee. Expect a heavier setup than a lightweight tool. See Relativity aiR and Relativity alternatives.

Logikcull. The simplest pricing story of the group: a pay-as-you-go plan billed per GB with unlimited users and projects, and a free sample matter. Fits corporate teams and smaller matters; check whether it handles your largest case. See Logikcull.

Reveal. A fit if where the data lives matters: Reveal Private Deployment is described as "hosted however and wherever you want." Its homepage lists Logikcull and Brainspace among its products, so ask which one you'd actually be sold.

Lighthouse. Choose it if you want a provider to run the e-discovery, not software alone. Its self-service tool, Spectra, is linked from the homepage; we didn't evaluate it.

Exterro. A broader legal-data suite (forensics, governance, subpoena response) with e-discovery inside. The homepage is lighter on litigation review specifics.

What we couldn't verify

  • Any actual price, minimum commitment or overage rule.
  • Review accuracy, recall or speed claims, which are vendor or case-study statements.
  • DISCO's security certifications (none named on the homepage we read; its footer links to a security page we didn't read).
  • Customer counts and market rankings (Relativity's Am Law 200 figure and analyst placement, Everlaw's G2 claim).
  • How the Reveal, Logikcull and Brainspace lines fit together for a new buyer.
  • Lighthouse and Exterro e-discovery depth: homepages only.
  • Integrations and data export terms for any vendor.

How to choose

  1. Write down one real matter size (GB or documents), user count and whether an outside provider will manage review.
  2. Ask each vendor for a written quote on that matter, including AI charges, hosting after the case, and export fees.
  3. Load the same 5,000 documents from a closed matter and run AI review against your existing coding.
  4. Compare missed responsive documents, false positives and privilege handling, not the vendor's accuracy figure.
  5. Ask for the security documents and data processing agreement before your client's data goes in.

Questions and answers

What are the best DISCO alternatives?

Everlaw, Relativity aiR and Logikcull are the nearest, as they sell cloud e-discovery with AI review. We haven't tested them, so we can't rank them; the table shows what each says it does.

DISCO vs Relativity: which is better?

We can't say which is better. By their own pages, Relativity prices on data volume with a one- or three-year commitment option, while DISCO describes per-GB and per-document charges; see our DISCO vs Relativity page. Run both on the same matter.

Is DISCO worth it?

It depends on your volume and how much you'd use the AI. DISCO says Cecilia AI use carries no additional charge on its platform, but it publishes no dollar rates, so get a quote first.

What are cheaper e-discovery tools than DISCO for small matters?

Logikcull's pay-as-you-go plan is billed per GB with a 10 GB minimum and unlimited users, per its pricing page, which suits small matters. It shows no dollar figure, so compare quotes.

Do any DISCO alternatives publish their prices?

Not among the six we read on October 21, 2026. They describe billing models (per GB, data volume, credits) but no amounts, so budget by asking each for a quote on the same matter. See also Everlaw vs DISCO vs Logikcull.
