What Ironclad says it is

The home page calls Ironclad an AI contract lifecycle management platform and lists the stages it covers: create, review, sign, store, analyze and fulfill. It names Ironclad Agent as the front door to its AI, which it says draws on your contracts, deal history and negotiation knowledge. The product page describes a no-code Workflow Designer, integrations with Salesforce, Slack, SAP and Coupa, and MCP connectors that surface contract data inside outside AI tools.

What it publishes about price

The pricing page offers a custom quote based on products, users, workflows and growth. It names three choices to make: which products (contract lifecycle management, the AI assistant, eSignature), who leads deployment (you, Ironclad's legal engineers or a partner) and which extras (API and integrations, extra instances, a success plan). It lists no tiers and no dollar figures, so any price you see elsewhere is not from the vendor's page. Our Ironclad pricing guide covers what to ask for in a quote.

Recognition and scale claims (the vendor's own)

The home page states that Ironclad was named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Contract Lifecycle Management and in the Forrester Wave for Contract Lifecycle Management Platforms, Q1 2025, and was named a Digital World Class CLM Provider by the Hackett Group. A February 12, 2026 press item on the site states that annual recurring revenue passed $200 million. We have not reviewed the analyst reports or checked the revenue figure. These show market position; they do not measure how well it fits your team.

Customer quotes

The pricing page shows named customer quotes, for example a turnaround time falling from 12 weeks to 3. These are the vendor's selected testimonials and we do not repeat their savings as results. We found no independent study on the pages we read.

Who it fits

Its own pages target legal operations, general counsel, procurement, IT and sales, and its pricing page speaks of contracting programs across legal, sales, finance, HR and procurement. That suggests a program with many contract types and teams. A team handling a few agreements a month may prefer a tool with a published price, such as those in our Ironclad vs Juro comparison, or an e-signature-first option, as in Ironclad vs DocuSign.

What the pages do not say

  • Price. No figure, tier or minimum term appears on the pages we read.
  • AI accuracy. The agent features are described in marketing terms. No error rates or testing method are given.
  • Data use. The pages we read do not state whether contract content trains models. Ask for the contract language.
  • Implementation time. The pricing page quotes customers on timelines, but no standard implementation timeline is stated.
  • Reviews. Third-party review sites are outside this page, so we make no claim about their ratings.

Questions to ask before you sign

  1. What is the total price by product, users and implementation, in writing?
  2. Is customer contract content used to train or improve any model, yours or a provider's?
  3. Which workflows and agents are included in my quote and which are add-ons?
  4. Can I speak with a customer of my size and contract mix?
  5. What happens to my data and templates if I leave?
