Who each is for

Docketwise. The pricing page shows three tiers. Basic covers smart forms, case management, multilingual intakes, case and priority date tracking, a client portal, calendaring and time tracking. Pro adds e-filing, e-signatures, CRM and lead management, text messaging, a QuickBooks integration and Docketwise IQ, which the page describes as AI writing assistance and document assistance. Advanced adds multiple branches, permission groups, priority support, a larger file size limit and, on annual plans, free data migration. See our Docketwise profile and Docketwise alternatives.

LollyLaw. The home page leads with an immigration forms library (it says 125+ forms from USCIS, DOJ, EOIR and the FBI), 40+ out-of-the-box immigration workflows you can customize, intake questionnaires that translate into 20+ languages, real-time form collaboration with clients, a client portal it calls Client Bridge, time tracking, invoicing and its own payment processing, LollyPayments. It publishes no plan tiers or prices. The page we read does not mention e-filing or AI, so ask about both.

Where they overlap. Forms auto-populated from intake data, multilingual client questionnaires, a client portal, time tracking and billing, and reporting. If you are choosing between them, test the forms you file most and the intake-to-filing path, not the feature lists.

Before you rely on this

  • LollyLaw's price, plan structure and contract terms: none published on the pages we read.
  • E-filing and AI at LollyLaw: not mentioned on the home page. Ask the vendor.
  • Security certifications and data handling for both: neither page we read lists audit reports.
  • Form counts and edition freshness: LollyLaw states 125+ forms; Docketwise states no count on the pages we read. Check the exact forms you file.
  • Customer ratings and testimonials on both sites: we repeat none of them.

How we'd test the two in a week

  1. List the five forms and case types your firm files most.
  2. Start the LollyLaw free trial and a Docketwise trial, then build the same client intake in each.
  3. Fill the same forms from the intake data and compare the missing-field handling.
  4. Check whether e-filing, text messaging and AI are in the plan you would actually buy.
  5. Ask each vendor for a written quote for your number of users, data migration terms and security documentation.
