Who each is for
Harvey. The home page presents a set of products that work together: agents that "execute complex legal work end to end", Vault for bulk document analysis, Knowledge for legal, regulatory and tax questions, and Spaces with governance and ethical walls. It's the better fit if you want a platform to roll out across a firm or legal department. The page doesn't name the research sources behind Knowledge. See our Harvey vs Legora and Harvey pricing pages.
vLex Vincent AI. The vendor says its database holds over one billion documents from 100+ countries, with country pages for 17 jurisdictions. The workflows are specific: ask a research question, run a 50-State Survey, compare jurisdictions, analyze a complaint or contract. Vincent Studio is a no-code tool for building a firm's own workflows. The page lists no third-party integrations. Our Vincent AI profile has more background.
Where they overlap. Both describe agentic workflows and document analysis. Harvey frames it as an organization-wide platform; Vincent frames it around research and case documents. Compare how each handles your own matters, not the feature lists.
Pricing, as shown on October 28, 2026
- Harvey: not published on its home page; the call to action is "Request a Demo". Our Harvey pricing page covers what's known beyond the vendor page.
- vLex Vincent AI: not published on its product page, which offers a free trial and a demo.
Before you rely on this
- Prices for either product: ask each vendor for a written quote.
- Security: Harvey lists SOC2 II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, GDPR, CCPA and AIUC-1; vLex says it has SOC2 certification and ISO 27001 compliance, with zero-retention agreements with its model providers. Ask each for the certificates and the data terms.
- vLex's productivity and reliability statistics: the page cites benchmarks and trials without a method.
- Harvey's usage statistics and customer lists on its page: we repeat none of them here.
- Accuracy and citation reliability for both: test on your own questions.
- Integrations: the Vincent page lists none; Harvey lists a connector library without naming connectors.
How we'd test the two in a week
- Pick three closed matters and write down the answers you already know are right.
- Run the same research questions in each tool and check every citation against the primary source.
- Run one multi-jurisdiction question, such as a state survey, in each.
- Give each a real contract or complaint and compare what it flags, misses or invents.
- Ask each for security documentation, data retention terms and a written quote.
