What Vincent AI does

The vLex page groups features into four areas. Research: Ask a Research Question, 50-State Survey and Compare Jurisdictions. Litigation: Analyze a Complaint, Pleadings or Judicial Proceedings. Transactions: Analyze a Contract, Redline Analysis and Compare Documents. Litigation intelligence: profile a judge, lawyer, law firm or party. It also lists Vincent Studio, a no-code tool for custom firm workflows, and vLex Labs for custom workflows and integrations built with vLex experts.

Jurisdiction pages are listed for Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, the European Union, France, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States, and the FAQ cites a database from 100+ countries. The page mentions Clio only as vLex's parent; it does not describe a Clio integration.

What the missing price means

Without a published price, the cost is whatever vLex quotes you. Questions to put in the quote request:

  1. Is Vincent AI priced per user, per firm or by usage, and over what term?
  2. What does the free trial include, and for how long?
  3. Is Vincent Studio or vLex Labs a separate charge?
  4. What jurisdictions are included in the plan you are quoted?
  5. Are the zero-retention terms in the contract, or only on the website?

Our Vincent AI profile has more background, including that vLex research access sometimes comes with state bar benefits. Check whether your bar offers it; that is not the same as Vincent AI being free.

How it compares

What we couldn't verify

  • Any price, tier or trial length.
  • The accuracy, productivity and law-firm-adoption figures. The page gives no methodology we could check.
  • SOC2, ISO 27001 and zero-retention terms; ask for the reports and contract language.
  • Whether Vincent AI works inside Clio. The page does not say.

How to test it in a week

  1. Request the trial and a written quote on the same day.
  2. Run three research questions you already know the answer to, and check every citation against the primary source.
  3. Run one complaint or contract analysis on a closed matter.
  4. Ask for the security documents and zero-retention language.
  5. Compare the quote with one other research vendor.
