Who this fits

A firm that lives on lead intake. Lawmatics is a legal CRM and intake platform, not a practice management system. If your question is "what happens between the first call and the signed engagement," it is built for that. If you need case management and trust accounting, compare it with a practice management tool such as MyCase, which does publish a 10-day trial.

A firm that wants to try before talking to sales. Lawmatics isn't set up for that on its public pages. Ask for the "first month free" terms in writing during the demo, including what happens on day 31.

A firm choosing among intake tools. Our client intake comparison and the free-tools list show which tools offer a real self-serve trial.

What we couldn't verify

  • Whether the "first month free" banner is a current offer for new accounts, and its terms.
  • Any price for any plan, or the per-user rate behind the 3-user minimum.
  • The cost of additional contacts, SMS and MMS beyond the included amounts.
  • Integration depth with Clio, MyCase, Filevine and others, which the site lists by name.
  • QualifyAI accuracy and its credit pricing.

Questions to ask in the demo

  1. Is the "first month free" offer open to us, and does it need a card?
  2. What is the per-user price on Premium for our team size, billed annually?
  3. What does an extra 1,000 contacts cost?
  4. Can we export every contact, form and automation if we leave?
  5. Which of the tools we use today does it integrate with, and is each integration included in the plan?

Questions and answers

Does Lawmatics have a free trial?

Not a self-serve one that we could find. The pricing page sends each plan to a demo or to sales. It also shows a banner offering the first month free, with no terms, so confirm it directly.

How much does Lawmatics cost?

Lawmatics doesn't publish prices. Its pricing page says plans are tailor-made and asks you for details to receive a custom quote. It lists three plans (Essential, Premium, Enterprise) and a three-user minimum on the first two.

What is the difference between Lawmatics Essential and Premium?

By the pricing page, Essential covers intake, lead management, calendaring, forms, e-signature and SMS with 500 contacts. Premium adds workflow and marketing automation, email marketing, advanced conflict checking, custom reporting and dashboards, with 10,000 contacts.

Is Lawmatics a practice management system?

No. It is positioned as a legal CRM, intake and marketing automation platform, with an optional time and billing add-on. It lists integrations with practice management tools such as Clio, MyCase and Filevine.

Is Lawmatics' first month free offer real?

The banner is on the pricing page we read on October 21, 2026, but the page gives no conditions. We couldn't confirm who qualifies, so ask for the terms in writing before you plan around it.
